2016 Dogface Cabernet Sauvignon (Lone Buffalo Vineyards)

The second special jbrand collaboration with Placer Land Trust, inspired by the California Dogface Butterfly (our State Insect) – quite rare due to its limited habitat. This elusive butterfly is fortuitously found on Placer Land Trust’s Shutamul and Laursen Bear River Preserves – 400 acres of permanently protected local wilderness along the Bear River that plays host to the largest known number of breeding California Dogface Butterfly in the Sierra Nevada. 20% of the proceeds from each bottle goes directly to Placer Land Trust to permanently protect natural and agricultrual lands in Placer County. www.lonebuffalovineyards.com/our-wines
