A native Californian and Placer County transplant, Vickie Hayashigatani has lived and worked in Roseville for Hewlett Packard and Hewlett Packard Enterprise for over 22 years. She is an avid hiker, trail runner, and enjoys snowshoeing in the winter.
“In Placer County, we are blessed to have easy access to hiking trails and state parks quite literally in our backyards. At the same time, it is unfortunate that some people will never know what it’s like to walk in the woods, feel the spray from a waterfall, or see the sunrise over a meadow. I believe very strongly in the mission of the Placer Land Trust to permanently protect natural and agricultural lands in Placer County for current and future generations.”
