Placer Conservator Reception

What: Join us at this outdoor reception to mingle with old friends and meet new Placer Land Trust supporters! You’ll have a chance to check out some auction items being auctioned off online and participate in some fun activities. You won’t want to miss the short program where you’ll hear the latest news about Placer Land Trust and be a part of awarding Paul Aronowitz receive his well-deserved 2022 Placer Conservator Award!

Where: The Ridge Golf Course & Events Center, 2020 Golf Course Road, Auburn

5:30pm – Event begins – arrive any time before 6:30pm
6:30-7:00pm – Short program
8:30pm – Event ends – stay as long as you like after the program ends

Tickets: $75 for Placer Land Trust members, $90 for general public

Tickets include appetizers and two drink tickets for beer, wine, or soda. Additional drinks, as well as cocktails, can be purchased inside at the restaurant bar. Space is limited so get your tickets today!


Attire: Business Casual is the fast answer, but you’ll see all levels so come in what makes you feel happy. Please note that the event is outdoors, so dress in what’s comfortable for the weather, and shoes with heels are not recommended (you may be standing on grass).

Tickets: We do not send out physical tickets for the event. You will check in upon arrival to confirm attendance and receive your nametag.

Where is it?

The Ridge Golf Course and Events Center, 2020 Golf Course Road in Auburn.

The event is taking place outdoors to the left of the main entrance of the building near the putting green.

What time does it all start?

  • 5:30-6:16    Check-in (please arrive no later than 6:15pm to ensure you’re checked in before the program begins)
  • 5:30-6:30    Social time – appetizers and drinks served. Be sure to preview some of the auction items while it’s still light out!
  • 6:30-7:00    Short program and presentation of Placer Conservator Award
  • 7:00-8:30    Social time – appetizers and drinks served
  • 8:30            Good night, drive safe

Are food and drinks included?

Appetizers will be passed around during the event and will also be available at a buffet table. Each guest over 21 will receive two drink tickets at check-in for wine, beer, or soda at the outdoor bar. You can purchase additional drinks, including cocktails, at the bar inside the restaurant.

Payment options:

There is nothing to buy at the event, but donations are appreciated. We can accept cash, checks and all credit cards for donations. If you choose to purchase additional drinks, you can do so at the restaurant bar with credit cards or cash.

Can I bid on auction items at the event? We will have some auction items at the event for you to preview. All bidding takes place online, and you can bid from your phone at the event if you like. The auction runs from Oct. 17 at 8am to Oct. 23 at 8pm. You may view all items and bid here.


Your donations during Conservation Celebration Week are an investment in the future of Placer County!  When we all give what we can, together we can position Placer Land Trust to not only be here for the long haul, but to respond to changing needs, conditions, and opportunities as they arise.
