In June, we held our annual Volunteer Picnic and Awards to show our appreciation for all who support Placer Land Trust through preserve stewardship, trail maintenance, help at events, leading outings as docents, and more.
We also honored some special volunteers: Sarah Roeske, our 2022 Volunteer of the Year; Dan Eddleman, 2022 Land Steward of the Year; and Mikaela Balaban and the Placer High School Environmental Club, 2022 Youth Volunteers of the Year.
