Celebrate several anniversaries of a special place in Auburn, Placer Land Trust’s Canyon View Preserve. Bring friends and family to enjoy and appreciate these important milestones: 20 years since opening, 10 years of trail network, and inaugural year of a new community gathering space!
Come take a walk, enjoy a picnic, or stop by the gathering space for special activities for every age and interest:
- Learn about CA native plants from the California Native Plant Society Redbud Chapter
- Bird watch – the preserve is a great place for spotting a wide variety of birds
- Find a walk that suits your interest from 1.5+ miles of trails
- Play a game! We will have DIY Nature Bingo available, or you can check out the chess, checker, and mancala boards made from downed trees
- Light refreshments and CA native wildflower packets provided!
This is a free, family and guest friendly event. Advance registration is encouraged (but not required). Register HERE and you’ll be entered into a drawing for a Placer Land Trust gift basket!
Directions:
The preserve is accessed from Lincoln Way in Auburn across from the Park & Ride at the Bowman exit of Interstate 80. Additional street parking is available along Lincoln Way.
