Drew Schultz is a native of Northern California with a love of the outdoors, and a lifetime of enjoying them from the ocean to the highest peaks in the Sierras. His career of cooking and baking with mostly farm fresh and wild caught ingredient,s for the average diner and Presidents alike, inspires his concerned interest in the environment.

Drew and his wife have settled into a small piece of property in Clover Valley, where dogs, chickens and gardens all enjoy an organic life under the heritage oak trees that shaded the Nisenan Tribes for centuries. He is involved in educating young culinarians, farmers, and ranchers in Placer County through the Farm To School program, as well as educating others on clean energy cooking. Drew enjoys sharing and passing on his knowledge as well as learning from new experiences around him.

“I became a member of the Community Council to become more involved in preserving the natural lands around me. My several years with the East Bay Regional Park District in the Bay Areas of CA as a Trail Safety Member and Docent gave me the opportunity to be involved in helping to preserve open spaces for family, friends, and the community around me. I look forward to passing on my experiences there, and learning more here from the other Community Council members.”
