Placer Land Trust is pleased to announce the addition of Amy Eubank to their Board of Directors. Eubank grew up in El Dorado County and has fond memories of hiking and camping across the Gold Country region with her family.
“My parents taught me at a very young age to value and respect the environment,” says Eubank. “Growing up in the foothills and running barefoot through them as a kid are some of my favorite childhood memories, and that is without a doubt what fuels my passion for preserving open space. What I want for future generations is to have the opportunity to experience the sense of awe, freedom, and adventure that being in the outdoors can provide.”
Eubank has diverse experience in philanthropy, public policy, and building community relationships. She currently serves as Program Manager for American Leadership Forum, Mountain Valley Chapter, where she oversees programming and community engagement for a network of over 500 fellows. Before joining ALF, she worked at the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, focusing on grantmaking, community engagement, and program oversight.
“We are delighted to have Amy join our Board of Directors”, said Placer Land Trust Board President Fred Yeager. “She represents the next generation of emerging leaders in our region, and we know her experience and fresh perspective will be a valuable asset to our organization.”
The Placer Land Trust Board of Directors meet the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6PM in Auburn. Monthly Board meetings are open to the public. Contact the office for location.
