The Sierra Nevada Conservancy is once again hosting the Great Sierra River Cleanup in conjunction with Coastal Cleanup Day.  Placer Land Trust is happy to be among the contributing organizations and is hosting two cleanup sites again this year.  Placer Land Trust has been participating in the cleanup since 2009 and during our two years we are proud to say we have removed almost 5,000 pounds of trash!

This years sites will be on two of our preserves; the Canyon View preserve in Auburn off of Lincoln Way and our Codfish Falls Trail preserve next to the Ponderosa crossing of the North Fork American River.  On our website you will be able to sign up for your preferred site.  You can also find more information about all the sites and organizations participating on the Sierra Nevada Conservancy’s site.

We hope you join Placer Land trust this year in helping restore the health of waterways in our community!
