It was another great Big Day of Giving in the Greater Sacramento region! The event organizers, Sacramento Region Community Foundation, shared: “During this year’s Big Day of Giving, tens of thousands of people from around the capital area gave $13.2 million dollars to the causes that matter most to them. Because of your generosity, this community-driven movement has raised more than $100 million in unrestricted funds for local nonprofits since 2013. We’re blown away. Thank you!”
At Placer Land Trust, we definitely felt that love and generosity. Our staff and board members couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! 436 donors (both new and longtime supporters) gave over $197,000 to show our region how much protected natural and agricultural land means to them.
