A lifelong nature lover, hiker and gardener, Barbara had a career in the environmental/planning field working in Sacramento for public agencies and the private sector — always with the hope of ‘making a difference.’ These experiences provided her with a valuable vantage point from which to understand the importance of land conservation.
As a Placer Land Trust volunteer and Community Council member, Barbara has found new opportunities to focus on the environment and connect with community members to inform them about Placer Land Trust lands and the overall mission to protect and preserve lands in Placer County.
