The Placer Center of the California Conservation Corps has helped us several times in the past on projects.
Currently, these young people from the CCC are learning valuable skills at our Harvego Bear River Preserve. They are doing thinning and fuel load reduction making our preserve safer from wildfires — so we have a healthier forest less prone to fire, and they learn about forestry, how to use tools, and the importance of maintaining understory growth.
What great skills to have as they continue to learn about land conservation. Thank you CCC for the great partnership!
