Community Asset
The Preserve was donated by Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) to the Auburn Area Recreation & Parks District (ARD) and a conservation easement was simultaneously granted to Placer Land Trust to guarantee the park is protected forever. The property supports passive recreational uses such as organized sporting activities (baseball, soccer, etc.), walking, and picnicking. The property contains a multi-purpose sports field that is surrounded by oak woodlands on one side that makes the property a beautiful setting for family recreation. The oak woodlands surrounding the community park provide habitat for a diverse range of wildlife.
