Eralise grew up in the Auburn area and has explored trails throughout Placer County from an early age. After earning a degree in Environmental Studies at the University of Oregon in 2022, she returned to live in Auburn, where she has a renewed passion for preserving natural spaces for everyone to experience and enjoy.
While in Oregon, Eralise was a land steward intern with a local nature education nonprofit and developed a love for cleaning up and beautifying the environment. Eralise currently works in Roseville as an assistant environmental planner. She hopes to give back to the community through the Community Council, and her overarching goal is to get people from all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds engaged with the environment and energized about conservation.
Eralise is also an artist, specializing in oil painting and “dabbling” in all mediums including acrylic and watercolor painting, ceramics, beading, metalworking, and many others. She loves to stay active, and you can find her at the gym or spending time with her dog, Glen. She also travels as much as she can, even on little trips out of town or longer trips abroad to experience all the world has to offer!
