Join Placer Land Trust in cleaning up our watersheds! This is a rescheduled event. If you signed up to help out earlier in the year, you are still on the list!
Date & Time: Saturday, December 3, 9-12:30
Location: Canyon View Preserve (learn more about the preserve here)
We are hosting a Great Sierra River Cleanup Day, part of the largest volunteer event in California. The effort focuses on cleaning up Sierra watersheds, which produce 60% of California’s water supply. Come out and be a part of the movement!
You can help by picking up litter, removing invasive species, or assisting in removing materials from some of our older projects on site. We will have limited spaces available, so if you’re interested, please sign up! The activities are best suited for adults and youth ages 10 and up. Any minor must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
More details, directions to the Preserve, and a list of what to bring will be emailed after registration. Check your spam folder if you do not receive the email within 15 minutes of registering.
Participants must print and bring two signed releases of liability to the event: one from Placer Land Trust (click here), and one from the event organizers for adults (here) or for minors (here).
If you have any questions please contact Elia Rivas by email or by phone at 530-887-9222 ext. 110.
