When: Sunday, July 14 at 8 am – 11 am
Where: Big Hill Preserves, North Auburn
Want a place to mountain bike with your family or friends without the crowds? How about taking in some pristine oak woodlands? Or ride past spectacular rock formations, the flowing Raccoon Creek, and stop to take in the panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada foothills and Sacramento Valley! Look no further — come ride with us!
We are excited to be co-hosting this Mountain Bike Open Preserve Day with the Auburn Trails Alliance! They are a local non-profit dedicated to building greater town-to-trail connectivity in the City of Auburn and surrounding communities. They promote the creation of bike and pedestrian programs, amenities, and infrastructure that foster safe, sustainable, and fun transportation alternatives for our active and diverse outdoor community. Learn more here.
You can arrive between 8:00 am – 9:30 am and check out anytime between 9:30 am – 11:00 am. Gates close shortly thereafter. We will provide you with a trail map when you arrive, and from there you are free to experience the beautiful preserves on approximately 6.5 miles of trail at a pace that’s comfortable for you. The trails range from easy to somewhat technical.
