In 2007, Placer Land Trust raised and contributed funding to ensure this 281-acre ranch in western Placer County near Camp Far West Reservoir would be permanently protected for continued agricultural use. Funding from Placer Land Trust, Placer County’s Placer Legacy program, and the United Auburn Indian Community enabled Placer County to purchase and record a conservation easement to protect the property from subdivision, use or development that would significantly damage or impair the property, its agricultural values, and its grassland and oak woodland habitat.
