May 7, 2026 • Early giving starts April 23!

For 35 years, community members like you have come together to support Placer Land Trust’s mission of protecting the lands that enrich our lives every day! And there’s no better day to continue that support than Big Day of Giving, THE online giving opportunity of the year that unites and inspires the community to support the hundreds of nonprofits that make the greater Sacramento region an amazing place to call home. It is a critical fundraiser for Placer Land Trust as it helps us raise the funds needed to keep our mission moving forward. Over the past twelve years of our participation, our members have invested over $2,000,000 in the permanent protection of our lands, waters, wildlife, and ways of life. Mark your calendar to help Placer Land Trust protect more of these essential resources this Big Day of Giving!

Big Day of Giving is May 7, with early giving starting on April 23! Most giving takes place online starting on April 23, but we can also accept gifts made directly to Placer Land Trust via:

  • Check
  • Cash
  • Stock transfers
  • IRA charitable rollovers
  • Donor advised funds
  • See our Ways to Give page for more gift options and details

Make sure to take action early if you plan to give one of these other gift types. All check gifts should be mailed to 922 Lincoln Way, Suite 200, Auburn, CA 95603, and please allow enough time to make sure we receive your gift by May 7.

Exciting News – some very generous Placer Land Trust members have already come together to create a $100,000 matching fund that will double donations made between April 23-May 7, while funds last! A huge thanks to Emigrant Trails Greenway Trust, Mary Ann Flemmer, The Goat Trail Fund, Christine Pieper & Dennis Grossman, Graeme & Debra Plant, Side Hill Citrus, J.P. Tindell, and a few anonymous donors for making this fund possible, and thank you in advance to all who plan to participate this Big Day of Giving!
