Nicole is a project manager by trade, but loves everything outdoors. Her favorite hobbies include camping, traveling to new places, hiking, snowboarding, paddle boarding, kayaking and volunteering. She began as a docent for Placer Land Trust at the beginning of 2019 but immediately knew it was an almost perfect combination of giving back to the local community and being in the outdoors. This summer she also became one of the newest members of the Placer County Search and Rescue Team and also volunteers in her town of Lincoln bringing up local leaders in her community.

“Since I’ve moved to Placer County in 2009, I have really started to explore and learn about many of the natural resources and beauty we have here. It’s quite amazing how many opportunities Placer County has to enjoy the outdoors. I want nothing more than to protect the spaces we have left so everyone can enjoy them forever. Nature is such an important part of my well being, it’s my getaway in a crazy busy world, where I can just breathe, relax, center myself and be in the moment. I never want to be without beautiful places like this.”
