Your favorite event is back, and we’re bringing it outdoors! This event is for Placer Land Trust members to gather and celebrate our PLT community!
Saturday, March 18
2pm-4pm (optional hour to explore starts at 1pm)
Laursen Bear River Preserve, North Auburn
(directions will be emailed upon registration)
Join us for a pie-themed potluck! Come at 1pm for an optional one-hour Open Preserve Day. Bring your walking shoes, binoculars, camera (no dogs or bikes, sorry) and wander the preserve. If you’re just coming for the pie —and who isn’t?! — we’ll start the potluck at 2pm.
You can bring a pre-sliced pie to share (sweet or savory) but it is not required. Upon arrival you will receive two drink tickets to enjoy the wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages we will provide. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. Please bring chairs or a picnic blanket and dress for success (that is, outdoor weather)!

P.S. We’re watching the weather, and if it doesn’t cooperate, we will reschedule for the following Saturday, March 25. If we need to change the date, we will send out a notification on the 16th to all who have RSVP’d.

- The label should include what type of pie it is, please. We encourage you to label them at home, but we will have supplies on site just in case.

- What’s the one-hour Open Preserve Day?
- It’s an optional hour for you to come hang out on the preserve a little more! Go for a short hike, try to spot some birds, bring your drawing or painting supplies or your camera, or even find a peaceful spot for yoga or meditation! Please note, no bikes or motorized vehicles will be allowed during this time. Thanks!

- We can’t guarantee anything since it’s a potluck, but all pies will be labeled to help you find the perfect slice!
