In November 2009, PLT worked with Daryl Oest and his family to put an agricultural conservation easement on the Oest Ranch – Lake Clementine Preserve.

With the completion of this project, Placer Land Trust is proud to announce that our grand total of protected lands in Placer County is now over 5,000!

Thanks – we couldn’t have done it without you!

As we enter the holiday season, PLT is especially thankful for the Oest family for making a commitment to the future. By working with landowners like the Oests, PLT continues to work hard to permanently protect the natural areas and family farms and ranches that make Placer County such a wonderful place to live, work and play.

Happy Holidays!
