Seven great ways to celebrate June as the National Great Outdoors Month!
Visit these Placer Land Trust Preserves anytime during the month of June to benefit from being outdoors and earn cool prizes!
- Auburn School Park Preserve
- Canyon View Preserve
- Codfish Falls Trail Preserve
- Halsey Preserve
- Miners Ravine Preserve
- Rock Creek Preserve
- Cisco Grove Gould Park (may be closed due to road work)

How to participate:
- Visit any or all of the seven preserves/parks between June 1 and June 30, 2022.
- Take a photo of the Preserve’s Land Trust sign or Passport sign and write up a sentence (or more!) about your favorite part of the visit.
- If inclined, post your photos on Facebook or Instagram with the following hashtags: #PlacerLandTrustPassport #OutsideWithPlacerLandTrust
- By July 8 2022: Email us your name, mailing address, photos and favorite part write-up to info@placerlandtrust.org, subject line: Placer Land Trust Preserve Passport.
- Our Prize Coordinator will help arrange receipt of your prize!
Please plan your trip in advance so you have enough water, food, and weather protection appropriate to your visit.
How to win a prize:
- Visit 2 Passport reserves and win your choice of PLT merchandise
- Visit 4 Passport preserves and receive your choice of PLT “merch” or a local gift card
- Visit 7 Passport preserves and receive your choice of PLT “merch” or a local gift card AND get entered to win a $50 REI gift card!
Prizes are first come, first serve, and limited, so get your entries in early! One entry per family.
PLT “merch” selection includes drawstring backpacks, thermos, keychain with flashlight/whistle or stickers.
The Preserve Passport is supported by Placer Land Trust’s Community Council, whose purpose is to amplify the mission of Placer Land Trust by raising awareness and building support for protecting our region’s beautiful open space and agricultural lands.
