Beavers, Fairy Shrimp, Birds, and Creeks – oh my!

Please join Placer Land Trust for a Preserve “Open House” to enjoy this special place in Lincoln. Come have a wander-ful afternoon exploring and learning with us!
The day will include:
- Family-friendly activities — games, photo ops, and more
- Special program: Beaver Restoration! Learn how the beavers helped to restore a damaged floodplain to a thriving landscape. Presentations will take place from 12-12:30 and 2:00 – 2:30.
- Bird watching – the wetlands and grasslands are a great place for spotting a wide variety of birds!
- BYOP – bring a picnic and enjoy the sights and sounds of Doty Ravine Creek
- Live music with Fire in the Kitchen
- And some surprises!
Advance registration is encouraged (but not required). Register at the link below, and you’ll be entered into a drawing for a Placer Land Trust gift basket!
Please note — this working agricultural preserve is otherwise closed to the public, and is not accessible outside the hours of this event.
