Thanks to our members, Placer Land Trust had a very successful 2017! We protected new properties, took hundreds of people on exciting outdoor adventures, and provided many opportunities for our volunteers to make a meaningful impact in Placer County—just to name a few successes. 2024 Online Annual Community Report
This year, two new preserves got us closer to the goal of protecting 25,000 acres of natural and agricultural lands in Placer County by 2030. To steward those preserves already in our care, Placer Land Trust partnered with community members and organizations to remove invasive species and reduce fuel loads. Community partnerships also helped us engage more people than ever before on our preserves this year.
